These rules are standard for all events held in the Scions of the Phoenix Competitive Gaming League
1. There must be a minimum of four individuals entered for the event to be conducted.
2. Events will be held first in the round robin format and then in the single elimination tournament format if there
are four or less entrants. Four or more entrants will result in a double elimination tournament otherwise the round robin
format will take too long to complete.
3. Seeding into the round robins or double elimination tournaments will be determined by using the random generator located
at http://www.random.org/lists/ .
4. In the round robins each entrant will play each of the other entrants. In double elimination tournaments seeds will
be entered into the tournament, anyone that gets a bye in the first round should thanks the gods of luck.
5. Once each round robin group is set up then the matchups will be announced in the main clan hall. If a double elimination
tournament is announced that will also be done in the main hall.
6. Once matchups have been announced 96 hours will be allotted for each round of the round robin to be completed. One
game every four days should allow enough time for people to schedule a convenient time to play.
7. Players are responsible for contacting each other and arranging a time for their match. Cell Phone (Yahoo Messenger)
is suggested although e-mail is another fine alternative.
8. Both parties are responsible for using the reporting form located at the bottom of this page to report the results
of their match. All reports will be kept on file until the current tournament is over.
9. Vukodlac will maintain the official standing board which will be accessible via links at http://www.lairofvukodlac.com/scionscgl.html
10. Any disputes will be mediated by Murrz unless Murrz is involved, in that case it will be mediated by Lestat, in case
both Murrz and Lestat are involved then a random three person panel of Scions will mediate the issue.
11. Tournament room setup. Make the table that the game is on private so no random players join the game. Both players
must have their cell phone (YIM) active. Competitot that secures the table is responsible for inviting their opponent.
